AWS Connector
Existing Optable Customers have the ability to invite partners which are existing AWS customers to collaborate in a privacy preserving way, without having to trust Optable or to move their data from their AWS account. The invited AWS customer can establish a secure partnership and perform activation clean room operations in minutes with the existing Optable customer using AWS clean rooms.
What Are The Benefits?
Configuring and linking your existing AWS accounts offers several benefits to you and your invited flash partners:
Reduces friction by preventing the movement of PII data from their existing AWS account.
Facilitates the legal and infosec process since Optable does not require access to invited flash partner's AWS account, including read permission into the data that is contributed.
Streamlines and automates the use of AWS clean rooms capabilities through a user-friendly Optable user interface and auto-generated AWS CloudFormation templates.
Prerequisite
In order to enable the AWS Connector option, you are required to already own at least one existing AWS account so that it can be configured and linked to your Enterprise DCN. Connecting your AWS account can be done in the Admin > Settings > Flash Partner Settings section.
Additionally, for an invited Flash Partner to be able to configure and use this option, it is required that they also have an existing AWS account, running within the same region as the AWS account that the inviting Enterprise Partner previously configured.
